What does it mean to be a sensory-safe gym for ALL kids? At We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym in Tarzana, it means making sure that we provide a safe environment for all children. We believe in inclusion (especially when it comes to play) and we see firsthand every day how this ideology benefits not only children on the spectrum or with special needs, but neurotypical children as well. Allowing ALL children to play and learn together teaches them understanding, compassion, and helps to spread awareness — and that’s what we’re all about.
At our kids’ gym in Tarzana, we offer a variety of services for parents and family members of children. Anything from our weekly classes, to open play, or hosting birthday parties, we do. We’re a place where ALL kids can play, create, and use their imagination. Learn more about our rockin’ services below!
Classes
Our gym offers classes taught by instructors who teach groups of children with all levels of ability, ages 12 months and up. Our classes encourage children to have fun and be creative. They’re a time when children can climb, play, laugh, and engage with other children. Our goal is to ensure that we keep our classes safe and comfortable at all times. We Rock Care
We offer two levels of support for We Rock Care. The first is One to One attendant Care,
which offers a level of intensive support with constant care, which requires a one-to-one ratio due to a child having behavioral or safety concerns. This support will allow your children to be able to access the full experience of our indoor sensory facility (this service is an additional fee), or contact your local regional center. We help encourage your children to increase their self-esteem, their independence, and develop connections with their peers. (A parent conversion form is required)
Respite Care “out of the home” also known as “Break Time” in our sensory facility, is to help families of children with special needs who at times may have problems balancing the needs of siblings, spouses or time for themselves! If your child has a special needs diagnosis, please contact your local regional center to see if they qualify for this service.

- We offer an hourly rate at just $12 per hour, with a four hour maximum, one time per week, for our children without a special needs diagnosis.
- We Rock the Spectrum is not a licensed daycare facility.
Open Play
With open play, children are welcome to enjoy full use of our gym with all of our rockin’ equipment, including our arts & crafts section that has beading, painting, lanyards and much more.
- Open Play pricing is just $12 per child (discounted to $10 for siblings)
- Available for children ages infant and up
- Discounted membership options are available
Birthday Parties
If you are looking for a great way to celebrate a birthday, special event, or to plan a Private Playdate, then We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym in Tarzana is just the place for you! Our expert staff will guide you through your party planning experience with every detail — including party favors, birthday cakes (gluten-free if needed), and more. We have karate, dress-up, arts & crafts, cupcake decorating and many more activities to help make your little ones birthday a day to remember!

- Upgrade your package with rockin’ rentals such as a popcorn machine or photo booth

Private Playdates
Enjoy some special time with your close friends without having to worry about anything except FUN. We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym – Tarzana knows that ALL children (and their mommies and daddies) need some quality time too! Rent out our gym and enjoy all the same amenities available during Open Play for your own private party.
